Health Facility in Remote Areas a Big Social Responsibility

Fatehpur, September 6. Ensuring unserved and unreached rural areas public health services is a great social responsibility. Voluntary organisations can play responsibility through social participation. Establishment of health centres in remote rural areas is a unique initiative in this direction. These health centres will be able to resolve health related problems of rural people.
This was stated by District Project Manager of UPHSDP, Dr VP Srivastava, during inauguration of health centre established by Manav Sewa Sansthan at Budhaiyapur Majre Rena village. Pointing towards future, Dr Srivastava said if the experiment succeeded, bigger responsibilities associated with pubic health would be handed over to the voluntary organisations.
On this occasion, heads of various social organisations SP Shukla, Dr Jitendra Srivastava, Santosh Kumar Tiwari and block president of Kisan Union Malwan Yogendra Singh addressed the local people and held establishment of health centre as a need based positive effort.
At a health camp organised on the occasion, Dr Ashok Kumar examined pregnant women and children and distributed free medicines among them. The programme was chaired by senior community worker Gore Singh. The programme convenor Jai PrakashTrivedi expressed thanks and gratitude to all the participants.
